Web Developer and Nerd

Hey there.

I’m Brent – Web developer, programmer, and nerd. Over the past 10 plus years, I have worked on a variety of professional websites and services in multiple realms, like eCommerce and Learning Management. As a self-taught developer, I love to pick up new tech and skills, implementing them in interesting and fresh ways as I learn – on the job or in pursuit of fun hobby projects.

I have worked in multiple tech stacks, the majority being PHP utilizing the Laravel framework, with some projects in Electron and Node.js, but never shy about learning new tools. Whether starting a new project deployed on a Unix server, implementing APIs or third party services into existing projects, or maintaining and improving legacy code, I enjoy working through the problem and finding solutions.
